Personal property (was called posession by Proudhon) differs from the private property since it is not backed by a piece of paper, stating that you own something, but by your personal use of the object. So although you don't have private property rights to a house you have squatted, it is your personal property--unless some other anarchists decide that it's too big for one person and want to move in. Which is why you shouldn't bother to clean it or maintain it for latter use, because a buncha hell-raising black bloc-heads might want to move in and party on dude. They'll likely want to burn your car. After they trash your house, they'll go one to the next one. Yippie!!!! Anarchy!!!

Property, the anarchist perspective

Personal property (was called posession by Proudhon) differs from the private property since it is not backed by a piece of paper, stating that you own something, but by your personal use of the object. So although you don't have private property rights to a house you have squatted, it is your personal property.
