USAID (WP) has long been known to have connections with US governance warfare against other governments, including intelligence agency operations, but primarily propaganda warfare. There is evidence from Kenya, however, that USAID used a more Gladio-style (WP) infiltration of the justice system to do governance warfare against elected officials. The plan was to frame Deputy President William Ruto for violence that ocurred after the 2008 election^[1] Implicated in the plot are the former US ambassador to Kenya Michael Ranneberger and the USAID. The plan yielded propaganda warfare results, and threatened the sovereign governance of Kenya also.

On January 22 2014, in a shocking interview with Radio Netherlands Worldwide (RNW), former ICC Prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo candidly revealed how some unnamed diplomats wanted him to prevent (then) Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto from running for the Wikipedia:Kenyan presidential election, 2013.

On January 22 2013, in a candid interview with Radio Netherlands Worldwide (RNW), Luis Moreno Ocampo who was then the chief ICC Prosecutor, shockingly revealed how some unnamed diplomats (from mainly United States & the UK (WP)) wanted him to prevent then Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto from running for the Wikipedia:Kenyan presidential election, 2013 by framing (or "fixing", as it is known in the region) them for the Wikipedia:2007–08 Kenyan crisis. It was later exposed that they connived this by procuring witnesses mainly through 'Human Rights' NGO's (WP) such as USAID and Africog amongst others.

“There were some diplomats asking me to do something more to prevent Kenyatta or Ruto from running in the elections. And I said ‘it’s not my job’. Judges in Kenya should do that. And if they authorize them to run, people will vote. And if people vote for them, we have nothing to say,” Mr Moreno Ocampo revealed, while responding to questions crowd-sourced from followers of the Facebook (WP) page The Hague Trials Kenya (THTK), reproduced by RNW.^[2]

The embarrassing revelations caused outrage and Wikipedia:anti-Western sentiment across Kenya (WP) & the wider African Union (WP). A nationwide survey released on February 9 2014, revealed that 94% of Kenyans now want the cases terminated unconditionally. There have also been calls in Parliament by Kenyatta's ruling Jubilee Coalition to have Mr. Ocampo censured and summoned by the Hague-based court for derailing the course of justice that has not only soiled the President & his Deputy's name(s) but also left victims the biggest losers.^[3][4]
