A homeschool cooperative is a cooperative of families who pool resources or expertise for the homeschooling of their child members. In addition to providing an outlet for socialization and organization between parents and between children, cooperatives also serve to organize extracurricular events and activities for children as well.

Furthermore, Internet-based homeschool cooperatives, in the form of online social networks, have become an increasingly popular means of bringing homeschoolers together.
