Remedios Varo

Remedios Varo (1908 December 16 — 1963) was a surrealist artist and anarchist. Member of the art group Logicophobiste, active in the Spanish Revolution, companion of poet Benjamin Péret with whom she escaped to Mexico, and later became the companion of the surrealist painter Gunther Gerzso.
