1869 -- Henrik Ibsen play "The League of Youth" premiers.
1881 -- Italy: Amilcare Cipriani is arrested & imprisoned for the killing of an Italian in Alexandria in 1867.
1893 -- US: Emma Goldman gets a new home for the next year at Blackwell's Island Penitentiary — rent free! — for speeches delivered in NY's Union Square.
1911 -- Mexico: Zapatistas attack government troops in Huitzililla & Xalostoc.
1913 -- Annual "Mother Earth" reunion concert & ball takes place in New York to help support Emma Goldman's publication.
1914 -- US: To decrease the financial burden, Emma Goldman relocates her residence & the "Mother Earth" office from West 119th Street to smaller quarters.
