Henry Williamson (born 1895 December 1 in Bedfordshire) was an English novelist best known for his sensitive but unsentimental handling of nature themes. Best known for four novels published under the title of The Flax Dream (1936), but it is Tarka the Otter, however, that establishes his reputation.
