1. There is a huge community of supportive Vegans and Vegetarians from all walks of life and with all sorts of interests; see http://www.vnv.org.au for an example from Australia. Also see http://www.worldveganday.org.au
2. This argument would not be applicable in a vegan world; instead meat eating would be socially alienating!
3. You can demonstrate the benefits and pleasures of Veganism and/or Vegetarianism to the people around you, and maybe they'll follow your example!
