Nationalism is the descriptor of a political philosophy where an individual is identified by the nation that individual is supposedly part of. This nation is often one relating to a collection of traditions which is not necessarily identified with a state.
The words nationalism combined with socialism make national socialism. However, the national socialists were more specifically racial nationalist and had little to do with socialism, except as a facade.
Famous anarchists who were also nationalist include Mikhail Bakunin. Many many other anarchists oppose nationalism however.
