I edit Wikis, when I occasionally surface from the depths of Gaming, the vice that has consumed me. I find the best way to do this is to never play one game for very long. It used to be WP and here mostly, but I found I could get more done on Wikia gaming wikis, albeit of less importance, and honestly I have to question the value of such an incomplete encyclopedia as there is here; the inevitable lack of links between significant articles make it no more than the sum of its parts. I have traded a miniscule amount of quality content that is continually under threat of deletors, and the highest quality content that no one will ever read, for a great deal of dubious content that is safe as houses and gets many hits daily.

Anarchy Online (AO, which I am currently not playing but will doubtless return to) is a free-to-play science fiction non-first-person-shooter (there being, barring true artificial intelligence, no such thing as a computer roleplaying game, even if that is standard terminology) with an excellent backstory that is updated occasionally. The patently evil Omni-Tech corporation is on one side, and the successors to the gains of the workers' revolution, the Clans, on the other. Like a junkie, I want friends to come and partake, but I know this is wrong. So stay away, far away!
