Marthijn Uittenbogaard (born in Leiden, April 21, 1972) is a Dutch leader in pedophile activism.[1] In July 2003, he launched the Human Face of Paedophilia with two other pedophile activists.[2] On 31 May 2006,[3] he co-founded the Partij voor Naastenliefde, Vrijheid en Diversiteit (PNVD), a Dutch political party known for to its pedophile board members and its goal of lowering the age of consent. Uittenbogaard is currently the PNVD's president.[4] From November 15 1998 - May 6 2007, Uittenbogaard was also a board member of Vereniging MARTIJN,[5] an organisation that aims to make intergenerational sexual relationships acceptable. However, MARTIJN - founded in 1982[6] was not named after Uittenbogaard.[7][see episode 22]

Views

In a 2003 article published in MARTIJN's OK magazine, Uittenbogaard linked his boyhood sexual feelings for older men to his current beliefs. He claims to regret not having had sex with an older man when he was younger, also asking why children should not be shown "all of what’s possible" via DVD, so that they can know what they want. Uittenbogaard goes on to mention that an "evolution" of sexual philosophy is preferable to a "revolution", since society can approach each emergent problem with greater sensitivity. [8] His views have received strong criticism, with professor Ruud Bullens claiming they are "fairly thoughtless" and will lead to a "paedophile witch hunt"[9]
