Leeds Labour Students is the Labour Students (WP) wing of the (WP)-affiliated group for students from all Higher Education establishments in Leeds (WP). The Society currently has representation from Leeds University Labour Students and Leeds Metropolitan University Labour Students.

Former Home Secretary (WP) Jack Straw (WP) was elected chair of the previous Leeds University Labour Society in 1966, the society then changed its name to Leeds University Socialist Society and withdrew its support from the Labour Party.

The group is considered one of the most active student Labour societies in the UK apart from the Oxford University Labour Club (WP), and frequently hosts talks from current and former prominent Labour party figures such as Hillary Benn (WP), Ed Balls (WP) and Yvette Cooper (WP)

The current chair is Mark Sewards.
