John Kenneth Galbraith was an economist who was arguing that neo-liberal economics needed to be thrown out and replaced with the new system. The new system was intended to have more public services infrastructure. He argued that poverty in todays world is not necessery, and as such was an opposer to the ideas of Milton Friedman.
