There is a strong correlation between Islamic countries and countries with the greatest amount of oil deposits, and with the states which the US has either invaded or pressured into barracking troops in or made into puppets. The so-called War on Islam is much more simply stated as a war for oil, the largely Middle Eastern (but expanding), part of wars for Capitalism (which were first against the primary threat, Communism, which part was completed, in the main, after the "Fall of Communism")
