Hamid Taqvaee (حمید تقوایی) (born in 1949) is the current leader of the Worker-Communist Party of Iran.[1]

He had an important role in the Communist movement in Iran after the Revolution. He was a longtime friend and comrade of Mansoor Hekmat and a founder of "Union of Communist Militants" and a communist movement which was known as "Revolutionary Marxism" at that time.
