Ubuntu is a traditionally African (specifically southern African) concept, defined as only being a part of society, and that only together we are something, and that alone, we are just "pieces of the whole". According to ubuntu, we are supposed to help and be kind to each other, and be humble, for we are not whole unless we are together.
