Dolcett

Dolcett is a pseudonymous comics fetish artist from Toronto, Canada, who became famous mainly because of the Internet.

Dolcett, who first became active in the late 20th century, draws scenes of bondage, extreme torture including impalement, cannibalism (specifically gynophagia), and murder or execution of nude women, often representing these acts as consensual. His mostly black and white drawings have a distinctive style that makes them immediately recognizable.

In one of his few public statements, Dolcett said : "I must repeat that these are purely fantasy. I am against real violence of any kind."

In his stories appear a few recurring characters, such as Merle Hill, a human meat caterer, or Karyn, a willing victim.

Most of Dolcett works have never been distributed in print and have only been available through the net. Although disturbing, Dolcett stories have a large following and generated a lot of fan fiction.
