Human Rights Statistics
Maximiliano Herrera is an activist and promoter of human rights issues and has been working in humanitarian and political journalism since 1994. His first work was World Rank, which was online in Fidonet.
Later, in Internet , He has been the editor of the site Human Rights Site since 1999.
It follows a brief description of the site's content:
-Electoral Calendar is a complete and updated list of the past and next elections around the world at all levels:presidential,legislative,local,referenda,party conventions.
-Freedom in the World is a list of all the independent countries and related territories ranked according to their political freedoms and civil rights.
-World Rank ranks all the independent countries and dependences according to their living standard.(HDI Human Development Index).
-A World in Trouble ranks all the independent countries according to the perception of the risk of a coup or a conflict.
-New Countries shows the possibilities of some territories becoming independent countries and of some countries being integrated into others.
Also, there are sections open for Political Forums and Political Articles.
Mr. Herrera also has contribuited to many ideas about peace processes in several countries in the world and he is in contact with hundreds of activists allover the world and opposition members in undemocratic countries.
Everybody interested in politics and human rights is welcomed to exchange ideas in the site's forum and also can submit political/human rights articles.
