Multi-licensing is a practice of releasing one's work with different copyleft licenses. This eases sharing the content between different collaborative projects.
For example, many choose to release their work as GFDL and CC-by-sa at the same time (similar but somewhat incompatible licenses).
Yet others refuse any form of intellectual ownership over their work, releasing it as public domain, despite any license applied in the project they contribute to.
