The Illuminati was a secret society founded by the Jesuit-taught Adam Weishaupt on May, 1st 1776. In 1784 it was banned by the Bavarian government.
The Illuminati in Modern Times[edit]
Some theorists including Mark Dice, David Icke and Ryan Burke claim that the Illuminati may have survived after there supposed end. According to most of these theories several famous and influential politicians have been members including Winston Churchill, The Rothschilds and The Rockefellers.
The Illuminati in Popular Culture[edit]
The Illuminati are often refrenced in Video Games, Film and Novels. Some of the more famous examples include Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, the Deus Ex series from Eidos Interactive and the Disney Gargoyles cartoon series.
