Hitchhiking is a very liberated way of transport. It's free as in no-cost, and it's free since you're able to go anywhere by just sticking up your thumb.

In almost all countries in the world hitchhiking is legal. Notable exceptions are some states in the United States of America, such as Arizona and New York State.
