Emotionally Challenged (sometimes abbreviated to emo) is a term describing a non-scientific condition whereby a person or groups of people are inherently bi-polar in their physical representations of their emotions. More often the Emo individual is in a state of constant depression unable to break into a content period.

Emo originates from a Generation Y subculture.
