Dispossessed Universal Intellectualism is an anarchist philosophy whose basic ideas are explained in the Dispossessed Universal Intellectualist Manifesto. It's ideas are that ignorance and apathy called ignorant apathy decreases the survival of the human race. It goes on to explain that all things which it includes belief, authority, laws, private property, and family create or support ignorance in society. The philosophy thus concludes that authority and belief and all ignorant mongering structures and institutions in all societies should be revolted against. Dispossessed universal intellectualism has strong influence from memetics and could be said to be Anarcho-memetics

Ignorance is explained not just as merely not knowing but not wanting to know and not seeking gain knowledge. Because human survival is associated with our large brain and ability to learn and teach to not gain more knowledge is to decrease the survivability. It is the ideas found in our minds that determine our behavior so to gain more possible ideo-behavioral expression is to be more adaptive. The solution to ignorance is explained to be to engage in arguments or discussion on any topic which comes to interest until the topic is fully examined. Also it is important to come to an agreement on the truth of an issue and to agree upon an answer.

Belief is explained to be always an act of faith and unquestioned trust. This could be a belief in an idea or a person/person's ideas. To believe in anything is said to be ignorant and refusing to look fully at ideas. It is still accepted to feel that something is true but only when based on evidence and only to a certain degree to permit argument and consideration of other ideas.
