daddy’s girl

A daddy's girl is a young girl or woman who has a close and familial relationship with her father. The term is the opposite of "spoiled brat". This is usually due to the fact that the father does give his daughter things she wants, but not out of fear. In fiction, a daddy's girl is a popular stock character.
