Audio Standards exist in relation to many aspects of Audio and are laid down by the following bodies in particular.

  • BS 6402: 1983 Personal sound exposure meters (lists A-weighting dB)
  • BS 5969:1981 Sound level meters? (same as IEC651:1979)
  • BSEN 60651:1994 supersedes the above
