Young Turks (band)

The Young Turks are an underground rock band formed in Detroit, Michigan in early 2001 featuring bassist Jeffrey Davis, drummer/vocalist Brandon Scott and guitarist/vocalist Chrystian Tracey.
After an article ran on the band in a popular Detroit rag the band started to develop a deep underground fan base for their raw, unpolished sound, aggressive stage antics and politically charged music.
The band completed their debut album titled Agent Orange in 2005.
The album drew heavy influence from other Detroit based garage bands from yesterday and today such as MC5, The Frost, SRC, Iggy Pop, The White Stripes and The Von Bondies
