William Morris

William Morris (1834 March 24 (Walthamslow) — 1896) was a poet/artist/socialist/designer/printer whose designs generated the Arts and Crafts Movement in the later half of the 19th century. Associated with the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and a close friend of the painter-poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti and his sister poet Christina Rossetti. Best known for [[News From Nowhere] (1890).
