Vicente Aleixandre

Vicente Aleixandre (died 1984 December 11) was a Nobel Prize‐winner (1977), a Spanish poet, banned by fascist Francisco Franco. His haunting poetry was little known to younger generations before he won the Nobel but has slowly gained a wider audience.
