Spamming[edit]
Hello Koekje,
I think 1-3 months is a reasonable blocking time for an IP found to be controlled by a spammer for over than a week, but we can discuss on it. If you check the block list you will find permanent or very long blocks, and blocks on entire IP ranges [1], which I usually disagree with. We should discuss on them also. In my opinion the site should remain as open as possible but we should also defend our space and employ our time usefully.
I wish our software supported bayesian filtering so that blocking would not be needed in most cases. ~Rev 22 23:27, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
