junk article

I'd say touche, had I written it. So glad you agree. Now change it. Anarchangel 00:47, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

Just curious[edit]

Why is grammar of dead languages no longer considered junk knowledge? Can I expect to see Anarchopedia translated into Latin?

Your perception of Anarchism as being an easy target is in error, as is your belief that putting two perceived easy targets together in one sentence is all it takes to be funny. Latin is taught because its study facilitates the use and understanding of English. For instance, I can make up an entirely new word that means 'perceived easy target' out of Latin: faceptiject, literally, 'easily grasped throw'. Doesn't mean I have to sit like a lemon in some Latin class, repeating words over and over, though, I just used the dictionary. Anarchangel 02:18, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
I directed this at Complacency is Insanity who wrote the article. I'm aware of the uses of Latin, and I don't regard anarchism as an easy target. Just wanted to know why the article was edited to remove "the grammar of dead languages" as an example of "junk knowledge". Maybe it's because the article's author likes referring to Status Quo so much.
