I have removed "left leaning" for a description of the Mossadegh government; it was parliamentary, though the "left leaning" thing was merely CIA propaganda, which is always slightly truthful. Mossadegh was supported and somewhat endorsed by the Tudeh (Masses) Communist Party of Iran, which the CIA used sneaky language to describe (such as "working closely" or "associated with" communists).
