Racism against natives of Canada[edit]

What about the racism against the natives of Canada? There is the whole thing about how white people like me 'bought' Canada from the natives way back when. When we bought it, we promised certain things, but we never paid for everything we promised we would. This makes white people in Canada thieves, who owe the land and all profits made off of the land back to the natives. It is a joke to even suggest that Canada is more acceptable than the United States, as we do the same thing. We just push aside things that are inconvenient and say "Oh, they are from the past, so why bother dealing with them. That would create so many problems for us." No, dumbasses, the U.N. has told us many times that we owe our land to the natives. If you don't believe me, look it up. If you really think that you are Canadian and you have rights to go to school or work in Canada, or even own land if you are into that, then you are just as bad as the most racist people in the world, at least be 'proud' of it. --Nevans 12:40, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

I think that's overly simplifying things. What about people who were born in Canada long after this started and have no animosity towards first nations? Are they racist simply for living in the country they were born in? Zazaban 23:01, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
Well racism against the natives is most definitely racism. Most white Canadians are probably eurocentric, and that is because they fail to understand how their actions influence those around them. It is somehow believed that "Canadians" are "White Canadians" and all other ones are just allowed to live there. This is the same thing everywhere. The best solution for that isn't to complain about it, but to educate people (and that is what Anarchopedia is for).  ~ User:Beta_M (VolodyA! V Anarhist) Talk 2007 December 6 07:12 (UTC)
