Sorry about my harsh edit summary; I am sure you meant well, and I probably had a hard day. The people who live in a place define it; they have a long standing tradition of defining it by name also, that precedes all others'. Other nations' name for their country is of course a fascinating factoid and should be included, but it is not sufficiently notable to supplant the indiginous people's own.
