ABS-CBN Talent Management & Development Center, organized by its mother company ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation manages all talents with exclusive contracts with the network. Formed in '80s through a talent search by then director Lino Brocka in partnership with ABS-CBN in discovery of new talents for the network as well as for film.
In 2004, the ABS-CBN TMDC, the Talent Center as how its artists call it, changed its name to Star Magic, Inc. Prominent TV director Johnny Manahan still remains the head of the now Star Magic.
