Privoxy

Privoxy is a web proxy which runs locally, capable of filtering nefarious junk, including dangerous scripts, tracking cookies, adverts and web bugs. It is also able to re-route DNS requests and for this reason it is often used with Tor (anonymity network) to provide pseudonymity on the internet.
It is released under the GNU General Public License and the most recent stable version is 3.0.6.
