Low level nuclear waste
EVERYTHING that workers use to protect themselves from radiation, itself becomes irradiated and becomes low-level nuclear waste. Protective suits, boots, gloves, everything. Transportation accidents are not a problem with this particular type of low level nuclear waste material, as its radioactivity is too low, but the sheer volume of it is a significant problem and a great contributor to the cost of nuclear energy.
The inconvenience of this fact to nuke industry PR may have been sufficient incentive for their people to have kept that out of the Wikipedia version of the article: Wikipedia:Low-level nuclear waste. It is too obvious and fundamental a fact to have been left out by accident.
For other types of low level nuclear waste, see the Wikipedia:Low-level nuclear waste article
