Kazakhstan is a nation in Central Asia. It border Kyrgyzstan to the southeast, Russia to the north, Turkmenistan to the southwest, and Uzbekistan to the south. It is known as the largest landlocked nation, the largest Central Asian nation, and the largest predominately Muslim nation in the world by area. It is a former member of the Soviet Union.
