Jerome K. Jerome (born 1859 May 2 in Staffordshire, England) was a journalist, essayist, and short story writer whose humorous Three Men in a Boat, has been translated into many languages. Wrote over 40 books, but in spite of his serious works he was labeled permanently as a humorist.
