It is a fundamental characteristic of the universe that its complexity is infinite.

Some have postulated that this fact causes many people to feel scared, due to their xenophobic fear of the unknown. This would explain the existence of religion - something that creates order within the inexplicably complex.

Mattis' Theory[edit]

With the internet and wikis, and - in the future - the interwiki, people can create a basic-anarchic platform through which infinite complexity can be structured. For humans, this will take the fear away. Religions will unite in collective clearing-up or will diminish. Zauber will be scientifically analyzed, understood and used, yet it never lose its inherent magic.
