Earth Matters is a radio show/podcast on 3CR Community Radio in Australia. It is done by Andrew Carter, but it has many interviews and other voices present in most programmes. The issues that are discusses are always related to environmentalism, and usually look at those issues from the perspective of an Australian people. With that said each show approaches the issues from multitude of issues, for example labour rights are always looked at when talking about opposition to environmentally unfriendly industries (such as coal industry).
Because this is a radio show it is coming out at the regular intervals, every week, and they all last approximately the same amount of time, around ½ hour. This means that when an issue is too large for the single show it is split up and 2 or more shows is delivered talking about it.
The sound quality is quite good, but there isn't any background music, which only helps… since some of the interviews are done outside, and it is great to hear birds singing in the environmentalist show, especially knowing that this wasn't intentional.
The only negative aspect of the show is the lack of the website, the feed page on the 3CR main site is the only thing which allows you to see the available shows and the short note about each of them.
