I always thought transnational was supposed to mean, within but across the width of a country, while international was between countries, but Wikipedia:Transnational crime seems to have every aspect of international, and there is consequently no mention of international crime at all. And while there then should be some kind of -across the nation- crime name to replace transnational, there seems to be none
