At first glance, this is a slam-dunk. The internet is itself a medium, right? However, since the internet is also movies and music and books and sock puppets and DIY, then it is in fact a collection of media types. Defining "Internet" as a particular type of media is necessary, and just as Asian activist groups would be defined as Activist groups by continent, there is need for a Internet by medium cat.
