Denial of scientific methods and theories that are accepted by the scientific community. Hypotheses have, by definition, not yet garnered sufficient evidence to be considered the near-proof of scientific theories, so a lack of acceptance by scholars is not notable.
Arguments by scientists against other scientists' theories may fall into this category if they are notably based upon assertions, especially without evidence, of flaws in the others' science.
