Candis Cayne
Candis Cayne (born Brendan McDaniel in Maui, Hawaii) is an American actor and drag performer best known for her appearances in the New York City club scene. [1] Nationally, she appeared in the independent films Wigstock: The Movie, To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar and Stonewall.
Cayne won the 2001 Miss Continental pageant.
In the January 5-11, 2007 issue of TV Guide, a retraction was printed, "Oops! Actress Candis Cayne was erroneously referred to as a female impersonator (Behind the Scenes, 1/15)," referring to a caption reading, "From left): Hill Harper, Melina Kanakaredes and Eddie Cahill check out the corpse, played by real-life female impersonator Candis Cayne," for a picture from the January 24 episode of CSI: NY.
