Blitzkrieg

Blitzkrieg (German for "lightning war") was a tactic adopted by Nazi Germany and utilized during World War II. It consisted of the synchronization of rapid and mechanized air, infantry, and armored attacks in order to ensure maximum efficiency. It was used to great effect in the opening stages, particularly the Battle of France.
