All Over Me
All Over Me is a 1997 drama film directed by Alex Sichel and written by sister Sylvia Sichel. Alex Sichel received a grant from the Princess Grace Foundation to make a film set in the riot grrrl music scene and then asked her sister to collaborate with her.
Tagline: In a world that expects you to fit in, sometimes you have to stand out.
The soundtrack had musician and bands such as Ani DiFranco, Sleater-Kinney, Babes in Toyland and many more.
The film has been compared to Kids and came out during a wave of girl-centered films such as Welcome to the Dollhouse, Girls Town and Foxfire.

Plot[edit]
Template:Spoiler Claude and Ellen, best friends living in Hell's Kitchen, New York in the '90s, are discovering themselves, their sexuality and everything else going on. They are involved in drugs, drinking, relationships, sex and of course music. They encounter homophobia and tragedy along the way.
Critical Acclaim[edit]
The indie movie scored several award nominations, including GLAAD's "Outstanding Film (Limited Release)" and Independent Spirit Awards nominated Alison Folland for best lead role.
