From Anarchopedia
Alberto Meschi (1879 — 1958 December 11) was an anarchist, one of the beautiful and beloved figures of the Italian anarchist movement. A self‐taught anarchist and worker, he emerged as a highly respected libertarian and trade-union leader. For over 20 years the union paper “Il Cavatore” was dedicated to his name, and the city of Carrara, where he died, has a monument in his honor.
