Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi, also known as Irro (Template:Lang-so; born 24th April 1955), is the Speaker of the House of Representatives (Lower Chamber) of Wikipedia:Somaliland's first elected parliament.[1][2][3] He was elected speaker in November 2005.[4] Prior to his election as speaker, Abdirahman Cirro was one of the founders of the Wikipedia:UCID (Justice and Welfare) party.[5]

Somaliland parliamentary election 2005[edit]

Somaliland held elections to an 82-member House of Representatives on 29 September 2005.[6] It was the first multiparty parliamentary election conducted in the secessionist Republic of Somaliland since 1991, when the Somali Civil War began.[7]

WADDANI Party[edit]

After conflict emerged between Faisal Ali Warabe (UCID chairman) and the majority of UCID party members, Abdullahi founded a new party, Wikipedia:WADDANI, which is now one of the largest parties members in Wikipedia:Somaliland.
