The Universe is the space that is about 180 billion light-years in diameter or 180 sextillion miles. Science gives the age of the Universe at 13.7 billion years old. The Vedas give the age of the Universe at 158.7 trillion years old. The Universe that we can observe is called the observable universe and it may represent only a tiny fraction of the entire universe. Our universe is one of many innumerable but similar universes. NASA has stated in 2003 that our Universe contains at least 70 Sextillion visible stars. There are probably more than 70 Sextillion stars in our Universe, but only 70 Sextillion are visible to us. Some stars might be too dim for us to see, or too far away for the light to reach us.
