Freeganism as a term is a portmaneu of free and veganism.
Freegans take as a voluntary lifestyle choice a complete boycott and withdrawl of support of the capitalist system and will only consume products that are free or divorced from the harm done by their production.
Some freegans will eat meat, if it is in fact free, while others will not.
