Motmakt is a Norwegian revolutionary libertarian socialist[1] organization using direct democracy, direct action and practical solidarity as their main political strategies [2]. They are part of the platformist Anarkismo network. Being anti-capitalist and anti-authoritarian, they seek to replace the state with a federation of worker's councils[3].

Motmakt are regularly hosts of various events, and has hosted events with prominent guests like Noam Chomsky[4][5] and David Rovics. They also regularly participate in local demonstrations[6].
